Social platforms like Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn are virtual marketing goldmines. Growing a loyal audience on these platforms will dramatically increase a companies brand awareness. Once accomplished, consistent marketing and continued branding can occur. Allowing for an ever growing warm market to which a company can sell and promote products or services. The tricky part is understanding how to build an audience on social media.
This is an example of a successful video posted to our Facebook business page. The most important metric being the "engagements". The engagements are the number of times people interacted somehow with the the Facebook post. The most common examples of engagements are likes, comments, and shares, but can also include checking into your location or tagging you in a post.
What are Facebook Insights? This is where you can measure the performance of your business page on Facebook. It is based on the last 4 weeks and updates daily. Facebook Insights can be found on the right hand column of your Facebook business page. In this screenshot we see that due to a single Facebook business post, we were able to reach 16,554 people, had 980 engagements to our page and/or post and 20 page likes. The percentages in green indicate whether these numbers have increased or decreased in the past 30 days.
